  • Where is your shop?  We work from our studio at 2D Drum Industrial Estate, Chester Le Street, DH2 1SS. Most clients prefer to organise their balloon decorations by e-mail and telephone, but we are very happy to arrange to meet you at the studio.
  • What are your opening times? We open the studio by appointment only as we don't have set opening times. Due to the nature of our work we are often out decorating venues or making deliveries.  Please contact us either via email or telephone to arrange to visit our studio for a no obligation consultation or simply have a look around our stock.
  • Do you deliver?  Yes we do but clients are also welcome to collect their balloons from our studio or our registered office at 18 St Cuthberts Avenue, Durham, DH1 5EP, depending on collection times. We can arrange to deliver for a charge that depends on the delivery address.  If your decoration is built on a frame, there will also be a collection fee. We only deliver to central town venues that have private parking or a loading bay outside.
  • Are balloons environmentally friendly?  Latex balloons are totally biodegradable, but ribbons and foil balloons aren’t.
  • How do we buy balloons?  Once we have an idea of the balloons that would work best for your event and venue, we send a very detailed quote and probably some photos of similar decorations. When you confirm you would like to place an order we send an invoice.
  • How and when do we pay?  We ask for payment during the week before your event. If you are collecting your balloons, we are happy to have payment at the time of collection.

    We accept payment by cash, cheque and BACS. If you would prefer to pay by credit card, there is a 2% surcharge and payments can be made between 10 am and 3 pm weekdays.

  • Have you got any photos?  We have a large bank of photos from our own balloon decorating work and from and balloon organisations which we are happy to e-mail to our clients to help with choosing decorations and colour themes.
  • What do you recommend?  Balloons are very much personal preference. Some people prefer a minimalist, others fun … Tell us about your event, if there’s a theme, and we’ll suggest some decorations. You’ll know what’s best for your event as soon as you see it!
  • What else can you help with?  With a little bit of warning we can provide table confetti, banners, sweets, serviettes, paper plates, goodie bags …. Please ask and we’ll see if we can help.
  • I’ve bought my balloons already, will you fill them for me?  We do not fill people’s own foil or latex balloons with helium.
  • Do you hire out helium cylinders?  We are unable to hire out helium cylinders.
